You deserve to be happy! And what that means is a little different for everyone, though most people are looking for a sense of inner peace, fulfillment, and harmony in their relationships with their friends and loved ones.
For some this might mean, eventually, fairly big career and/or lifestyle changes. Others might be surprised that just some smaller tweaks and shifts in thinking can make a huge difference in their personal happiness and feelings of fulfillment.
Many of you are struggling now, and have been under a great deal of stress over the past few years. You may be suffering from burnout from an overly demanding job, supervising your kids' online learning, and taking care of or losing a relative. Sometimes it is important to take stock and re-evaluate so that you can begin to move forward.

i need a life coach!
The truth is, there is no one, clear definition of what a life coach is. The Oxford dictionary defines a life coach as “a person who counsels and encourages clients on matters having to do with careers or personal issues.”
In practice, a life coach is very similar to a therapist or a counselor. Sometimes people just need a sympathetic ear to share things they are going through. For many, this on its own is helpful in relieving stress and processing issues or challenges in their lives.
For most, life coaching goes a little further and works to improve circumstances, emotional states, and, in general, help clients be happier and more fulfilled. Also, life coaching is not covered by health insurance. For this reason I try to keep my rates affordable.
The main difference between a therapist and a life coach is that a life coach does not officially diagnose mental health conditions, and does not work (at least not on their own) with more severe mental health diagnoses. However, they might work in conjunction with a mental health counselor with, for example, someone with severe trauma.
Additionally, health insurance does not cover life coaching. For this reason, I try to keep my fees affordable.
I personally don’t love the term “life coach,” maybe because it brings to mind leading a sports team, and a lot of hard work and sweat. I like to think of myself as more of a facilitator and collaborator, working with people to help them discover their own potential for happiness and a fulfilled, balanced life.
Sometimes people just need someone to listen to them, or sometimes they might have specific issues they would like to work on. Often people just know that they are not as happy and fulfilled as they would like to be, and need help figuring out how to get there.
